The written agreement controls
Public service descriptions do not grant ownership, exclusivity, editable files, sublicensing, or unrestricted commercial use. The signed proposal or contract identifies the work, approved uses, transfer conditions, and any project-specific limits.
Ownership and transfer
The written agreement states when any agreed rights transfer and what remains excluded. A draft, rejected route, working method, or unpaid deliverable is not treated as transferred unless the agreement says otherwise.
Source and editable files
Editable files are included only when named. Fonts, stock, templates, plugins, software, and other third-party materials may be governed by licenses that do not transfer with the final output.
Client inputs and display permission
Clients remain responsible for permission to use supplied names, marks, copy, photos, products, and references. Portfolio or case-study display requires the permission recorded for that project.
